Quit Smoking: Smoke Free days is a smoking-reduction support app that helps you follow a daily plan, log smoking behavior, track progress, complete recovery workouts, and stay consistent with reminders.

How do I create an account?

You can sign in using Apple or Google.

What happens after first login?

If you are a new user, you will be guided through onboarding. Existing users go directly to the app.

Why is onboarding required?

Onboarding collects your smoking profile so the app can personalize your daily plan and progress tracking.

Can I edit onboarding details later?

Yes. Profile and smoking plan details can be updated from Settings.

How do I sign out?

Go to Settings and tap Sign Out.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Go to Settings and choose Delete Account.

Is my account connected to Apple/Google login?

Yes. Your app authentication is linked to your selected sign-in provider.

🏠 Daily Plan & Logging

What does "allowed smokes" mean?

It is the number of smokes your personalized plan allows for the current day.

How do I log smoking activity?

Use the Log section to record details such as time, quantity, mood, and trigger.

What if I smoke more than my daily plan?

The app updates your day status and shows that you are over today's limit.

Can I see today's smoked and remaining counts?

Yes. The Home screen shows smoked count, allowed limit, and remaining status.

What is the "next allowed smoke" timer?

It indicates when your next planned smoking slot becomes available.

Are workouts available inside the app?

Yes. You can start, pause, and stop workouts from the Exercise section.

Are completed workouts tracked?

Yes. Workout completion is tracked and reflected in progress/activity data.

📖 Stories

What are Stories?

Stories are daily content items shown in the app for motivation and consistency.

Will Stories still appear with weak internet?

Previously fetched story content may still be shown from cache.

🌱 Health Recovery

What is the Health Recovery screen?

Health Recovery visualizes your body-recovery timeline after smoking reduction or cessation.

What is the "Clean Streak" shown in Health Recovery?

Clean Streak is the elapsed time since your last smoked event, shown as days, hours, and minutes.

What recovery milestones are tracked?

The app tracks milestone stages such as heart load relief, toxic gas clearance, oxygen restoration, sensory repair, airway relaxation, circulation recovery, and lung self-cleansing.

What does "% recovered" mean on a milestone?

It shows milestone progress based on your clean time. At 100%, the milestone is marked as fully restored.

Why are some Health Recovery items locked?

Certain recovery milestone details are premium-only and require subscription access.

Can I open milestone details?

Yes. Unlocked milestones can be expanded to view biological impact, wellness tips, and recommended workouts.

Does exercise affect recovery progress?

Yes. The app applies a workout-time boost when calculating milestone progress.

Is there a medical reference behind the recovery timeline?

The Health Recovery section includes a WHO reference link for smoking-cessation health benefits.

📊 Progress & Insights

Where can I view my progress?

Open the Progress section to see trend charts and summary cards.

Which time ranges are supported in Progress?

Daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and custom ranges are available.

Can I see activity history?

Yes. The Progress area includes activity log and history views.

🔔 Notifications

What reminders can the app send?

The app can schedule reminders related to daily logging, plan readiness, workouts, weekly summaries, stories, and inactivity.

Can I disable notifications?

Yes. You can manage notification preferences in Settings and iPhone system settings.

Why am I not receiving reminders?

Check iPhone notification permissions for the app, then reopen the app to sync reminders.

Subscription & Premium

Is Quit Smoking: Smoke Free days free to use?

The app offers subscription plans for premium access.

Which subscription plans are available?

Available plans may include weekly, monthly, and yearly options.

How do I subscribe?

Open the in-app subscription screen and choose your preferred plan.

Can I restore an old purchase?

Why is a feature locked behind premium?

🔧 Troubleshooting

I signed in but onboarding appears again. Why?

This usually means your profile setup is incomplete. Finish onboarding once to continue normally.

My progress looks outdated. What should I do?

Ensure internet is available, refresh or reopen the app, and check again.

Premium is not active after payment. How do I fix it?

Use Restore Purchases first. If still not active, contact support from Settings.

Some sections do not load correctly. What should I check?

Verify internet connectivity and retry after a short wait.
